NO ONE WANTS THEIR TESTIMONY TO DIE WITH THEM

When you step through heaven’s gate you will be eternally home.  You’ll be basking in the presence of God, surrounded by family and friends and myriads of Believers from many generations gone by.  You made it.  It’s real.  It’s just as He promised.  No more tears, sorrows, pain, or suffering.  It is truly joy unspeakable and full of glory.  You carry with you all the knowledge; the experiences of what worked for you and what didn’t; and the wisdom of the faithfulness of God, not only of the major challenges of life, but what you learned day by day.  It’s all there.  How through the Word of God, and the Blood of the Lamb the challenges of your life melted away and made you the dynamic spiritual person you became.

WHY DID I WALK THROUGH ALL THE THINGS I DID?

I’m sure the question comes to your mind, why did I walk thru all the challenges I did?  Was it just to make it to heaven and be rewarded for my successes.  That doesn’t quite make sense to me.  If everything you know and learned is lost when you take your last breath here, how can, or why would all that you’ve learned be lost to those of us left behind?  It doesn’t seem logical.  All the years of your life that you gained so much wisdom and it just evaporates when you cross over.

The Bible itself shows us how it should work, recording generation after generation, from Genesis to Revelations.  The lives; their struggles, defeats, and their conquering’s . It’s all there.  Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the declarations of the events in the lives of God’s people are meant to teach us the way forward in Christ.  We can learn so we don’t have to make the same mistakes and we can follow their pattern to achieve the same successes.

NO ONE WANTS THEIR TESTIMONY TO DIE WITH THEM

No one wants their testimony to die with them.  What about you?  Do you want everything you’ve learned to die with you?  Of course not!  But how can I prevent it?  This is the question that everyone should ask themselves.  If I could witness for Christ, with the hope of someone being encouraged to keep moving forward in Christ or accepting Christ and trusting their soul to be instantly with Him . . . would I want to do that?

IMAGINE THIS

Imagine this for just a moment.  You’re strolling down the streets of gold and an angel comes up to you and says, “Because of your testimony another soul has accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord.”  I can just tell you that experience would be priceless.  Not only because someone, someday, will show up in heaven and thank you for sharing, but you will know that your life will have counted for something marvelous and it will count for all eternity.

If you’re reading this, you still have time to share with all the world to see what Christ meant to you.  If you’re reading this and your loved one has passed just think of something they overcame; or what they meant to you or others.  Millions of people will be reading this and be inspired by your life.  I know, I know, I know!  What could I share that someone else would want to know about me or someone I love.

Just let our mind think on it.  The Holy Spirit will inspire you with a memory or an event; a miracle; a relationship restored; how their children and grand-children feel about them.  You cast a big shadow.  This is no time to be bashful.  Give God the glory for what you’ve accomplished and who you really are.  We need to know.  Your story may just keep another believer from falling or giving up in the hour of their greatest challenge.

Think back on your life.

You may remember a few sermons, but what inspired you most is someone’s testimony of the great challenges in overcoming grief; miracles; financial answers; healing a broken heart.  That’s what inspired you the most.  That is what inspires all of us the most.  Whether you are deciding what testimony you would like to share or a loved one wants to share, the testimony of another who crossed over yesterday or many years ago it’s all very important, because the testimony of the works of Christ in the lives of His people are ageless and timeless.

TESTIMONY OF CHRIST

If you define testimony as something you accomplished to help others, or over-came, then when someone asks Jesus “What is your testimony”.  He would respond with a list of all the believers who have or will make it to heaven because of His sacrifice on Calvary.  I’m sure your name will be on the main list in . . . the Book of Life.

Give thanks today for Christ’s work in you and your loved ones.  Share Him with others that they may also make eternity their home with Him.  It’s very imperative to share with millions of people around the world.  If you would like to encourage others or have some one come to Christ from your testimony while you already on heavens side . . . this is how you can do it.
