Ephesians 3:16-19. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Emotional pain from a tragic event sometimes causes us a moment of shock. That shock can cause us to say things that in the depth of our inner man we don’t really mean.  These are the natural emotions in us talking.  However, when hearts settle, I know that believers will return to the core of their inner man.  This is one of the great things about walking close to Christ.  The Holy Spirit in you is there to bring you through all of life’s challenges.

The more time we spend developing our “inner man” the more we prepare ourselves to handle the shock of a tragic event.  Paul tells us here that we can know the love of Christ which is above all our natural knowledge. That we can fill our lives with all of the fullness of God.  What a hope, destiny, and amazing way to live your life.  Continue to practice developing your inner man today.  It will bring you great spiritual dividends throughout your life.  Apply yourself in perfecting this. Don’t worry, I’ll show you how.
