Matthew 12:34 . . .  for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Jesus taught a great deal about what’s inside a persons’ heart.  He often likens people to trees.  The core and inner foundation of the tree always determines the kind of fruit the tree produces. Therefore, if it’s a good tree it will produce good fruit and if it is a corrupt tree it will produce corrupt fruit.  To promote the work of Christ, strive to produce good fruit.  Produce fruit others can be nourished by. Wearing the Christian hat does not mean that people are producing good fruit in their lives.

In my years of counseling I have seen and heard things from the lives and mouths of God’s people that would have shaken my faith if I had not known how God’s spiritual Kingdom works here.  You know what I’m talking about.  You have some in your own church.  We don’t have time for that kind of nonsense.  Saying hurtful words to others; tearing someone else’s walk with Christ down trying to make themselves look more anointed and close to God; always mocking something or someone.  They are speaking from their undeveloped heart.

My advice is to stay away from them.  Firstly, they are robbers of your time.  Secondly, they will hinder you from producing what you can today.  Don’t let them plant seeds of dark thoughts in your mind today.  Avoid them.  Do not let your goal to reach higher today be slowed down.  They need time to develop more.  Their words will bring a trial to them.  Don’t let yourself get caught up in their trials because you don’t need it.

Keep your focus.  Bear good fruit.  Run your race.

I know you will.

Be blessed; today and every day after.
