1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What?  Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price:  Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your Spirit, which are God’s.

Let’s move forward with the idea that we all want to do as much for Christ as we possibly can as we rush toward the day that we finish our course.  The question is how do we do it and in our real everyday life, what does it look like?  These are powerful questions that require insight about ourselves.

Let’s start with what we do know.  Our spiritual foundation is set.  All followers of Christ know that eternity with Him is set.  Because of that we move closer to being with Him every day.  We also know that when we accept Him as Lord of our life the Holy Spirit comes into us and our bodies become a temple for Him to live in.  The question is why?  Why was it important for God to send His Son to die for us to change the relationship between God and mankind?

To other faiths, God is always external.  He is not a part of you and therefore is not a God that can be touched by His people.  He connects with them through laws and rules and regulations.  Your experience with the Holy Spirit is internal.  He now abides in you.  Know that this is very important for you; He knows who you are; knows what you need; knows how to get what you need . . . to you . . . Expect it.  It will come.  Your broken heart does not control your life after today . . .

Give God thanks today for the Holy Spirit that is in you today, moving time, people, places and events in front of you, clearing out any obstacles, as He prepares the path for you to walk on to fulfil His destiny in you!
