John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Isn’t it great to read through the gospels?  We get to learn what Jesus did in His earthly ministry.  How He healed the blind; cleansed the lepers; fed the hungry; restored the lame; and raised the dead. (prayers)

The question for us is, can we identify any prayers that God has answered for us or for our family and friends.

If so, know that as He continues to answer prayers in our earthly lifetime and is real, to us, so are His promises that He has prepared an eternal home for us.  Apostle Peter says that when we accepted Christ as our Lord He implanted in us “God’s Divine Nature” (II Peter 1:4).  This blue print of Godliness empowers us to become more like Him day by day and year by year.  In this life we may never reach Godly perfection, but it doesn’t stop Christ from preparing a place for us. God doesn’t require perfection in this life to enjoy eternity.  Once you’ve accepted Him you have this assurance.  But to put forth an effort to serve Him in this life brings great joy to us now.  Soon enough, you’ll be reunited with your loved ones but what you do on earth for Christ will also last for eternity.

Rejoice. . . today is a happy day!
