Ephesians 5:15, 16 Amp Therefore, see that you walk carefully living life with honor, purpose,  courage .  .  . not as the unwise, but as wise . . .  making the very most of your time.

Time is a commodity, that you now know for a certainty, is in short supply in our earthly lives.  To achieve any purpose that you’ve determined is your God given destiny, you must manage your time.  Gone, now, should be the days when you just say, ”Oh well, what I don’t get done today, I will do tomorrow.”  Your life experience, now, no longer affords you that luxury if you are truly determined to reach the prize of your destiny.  Time is the only thing that can limit you.

When you lay your head on your pillow at night ask yourself, “did I manage God’s time in me well today.”  Don’t waste time on gossip; or trivial things you can’t fix for others anyway; and surely not the drama that always exists in others who have not yet determined God’s purpose for their life.  “Susan wore a blouse and skirt to the meeting instead of a dress”; or “Tom kicked his golf ball out of the weeds and didn’t count it as a stroke on his score card”; or “Did you hear what our brother said about our Mom?”  You don’t need this.  Don’t make a place inside you for this nonsense.   These are things that steal your time and make it harder to reach your purpose.

If someone starts in talking like this, just simply say, “I’m really busy right now, I gotta go.”  After a few times of hearing that from you they will quit bothering you and they’ll begin to see your life flourish and will want to know how you’re doing it.  Then you can share how you guard your time to get more done.

These kind of things . . . you can do. . . start today.
