1 Peter 3:15 – But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

When I was a senior in high school I received Christ as my Lord and Savior . . . yes, to answer one of my grandchildren’s’ questions; they had high schools way back then!  The little church I attended had two mid-week services.  One for the youth and one for prayer and testimony.  Every week at the testimony service everyone had to stand up and give their testimony.  I didn’t like it because I was always nervous to stand and speak in front of other people.  But I learned something.

I didn’t understand it but the more I testified the stronger I became in my faith.  I began to look forward to it.  I knew I would feel close to Christ after the service.  As I listened to others it built my faith to learn how God had met their needs.  I learned early on that there was spiritual power in ones’ testimony.  It revealed God working in their life.

Share Your Testimony

I encourage you to share with others your new testimony.  How God brought you through a great trial and how He will do it for others.  It will not only build up their faith and help them overcome things like a broken heart but will make your faith stronger too.

Pray this simple prayer.

“Holy Spirit, if you bring someone to me that is going through what I have been through, I will not fail to share with them how you brought me through”.  Amen

Just watch for them . . . for He will send them to you.
