Hebrews 12:1 – Wherefore seeing we also are encompassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses . . . let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

I love knowing that I am surrounded by those who love me and want the best for me.  This is a comfort to me.  Whether you believe these witnesses are limited to those around you now on earth;   or you believe they are restricted to those in heaven who are cheering you on, or both, it just brings comfort to your heart.  Sometimes I reflect on those great believers that started a project with me but passed to the other side before it was finished.  I am comforted thinking about what I would say to them if they were here.  I would thank them for all their help.   Because without their assistance early on it might have been impossible to complete the project.  I still miss you.  I still love you and I know someday we will be reunited.

We are all committed together who are in Christ.  The Holy Spirit and the love of God bind us together.  You are not alone on your journey.

I want to encourage you to journal your experience.  Write everything down., including your doubts, fears, anger and questions.   Some day when you get through the worst of this experience, and you will get through it, you can share your experience. . . testimony . . .  with others.  And this will help them immensely because you’re have been where they are now.

Ask the Holy Spirit to let you be a blessing to others today!
