I Thessalonians 4:13,14  – But I would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

We are a most blessed people.  We have the best of both worlds:  the Natural and the Spiritual.   We will reunite with our family and friends if we pass to the other side before Jesus returns.  We will be part of the great company of believers which will come with him.  If we are alive and are occupying on earth when Jesus returns we will be caught up with Him in the clouds.  This is great promise He has given to us so today is a day to relax and rejoice.  You have walked through a great tragic event.  You may have been feeling emotionally numb for a few weeks.  Today let’s start to shake that numbness off us.  Today, begin to declare your victory.

Repeat this to yourself over and over for many days and it will give you strength.

I am a child of God.

I am what He says I am.

I can do what He says I can do.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength to do them.

Rejoice!
