A Healthy You

It’s gonna happen!  You can’t help it!  It happens to virtually everyone.

You walk into a funeral home and for the first time you see your loved one.  Reality hits you in the face.  The finality of their life is almost incomprehensible.  Your mind begins to race.  Thoughts not contemplated by you ever before now flood through you with great power, like a roaring waterfall.  You nod and wave.  You even speak to others you see.  But your turbulent thoughts now flood your soul.  You’re surrounded by others, but you feel so alone.  Thoughts relentlessly just keep coming.  You find a place to sit.  You think . . . “that could just as easily be me laying there”.  The next thought comes immediately.  “Someday that will be me.”

You know death is part of the progression of life.  It comes to all of us someday, but the reality of it is overwhelming.  You take a deep breath.  Your thoughts change.  Your mind races to the obvious, just as it does for everyone else, this is what you can’t help thinking about . . .

What can I do to live healthier and longer?

You notice your neck has gotten somewhat stiff.  Your shoulders are tense.  Your joints are beginning to hurt.  Every nerve in your body seems to be twisting like licorice in a candy factory.  You need relief.  This feeling is too uncomfortable because you’re in too much pain.

Then it happens.  Without thought . . . your reach for . . . ? ? ? . . . your personal choice of a pain pill; an anxiety pill; a stress relief pill.  It’s normal . . . right?

Humans are humans.  When they are emotionally or physically in pain they look for relief.  They want it as quickly and effortlessly as possible.  It’s okay.  Doesn’t everyone else do the same thing?

Better Health is focused on finding alternatives to emotional stress, that often leads to physical pain.

Even normal grief can be a catalyst for this kind of discomfort.  Don’t get me wrong.  Grief can, unquestionably cause these maladies in the body.  For that matter, any severe stress can contribute to this unpleasantness, but grief adds the realization of the finality of one’s life on top of it.  It’s like having little imps from the dark side screaming in your mind, “Find something quick and make us go away.”  You’ve heard them.

So now the search is on.

You look in the glove box of your car; check your purse or pockets; look under your car seat.  Finally, you ask someone else if they have some.  At just about all funerals everyone has an aunt pharmacy.  Most of the time you can hear the pills rattle around in the pill bottles in her purse.  Things like oxycontin; hydrocodone; Xanax and numerous other pain and anxiety relief medications.

These types of medications, once locked away in our medicine cabinets and kept from our kids, now are carried around in the pockets of jeans everywhere.  They are about as common as baby aspirin.  These are highly addictive, and because of this multiplied millions of people, around the world, have become addicts.  Some of these tormented people, which include vast numbers of Christian believers, are capable of robbing you, hurting you, and in some cases, even killing you, if they think you have some of these pain-relieving pills and you won’t give some to them.

Overcoming Grief Searches for Answers.

Overcoming Grief would be derelict in its approach to you on ways to overcome grief if we did not at least attempt to discuss with you and bring you the latest research on non-addictive products and to help you discover the possible alternatives to the side effects of grief . . . “emotional and physical pain caused by grief”.

We have already begun our exhaustive research into things like aromatherapy, essential oils, diet, exercise, etc.  First, we’re going to start sharing with you the latest supplement to hit the market that is taking the world by storm.

CBD Oil

This supplement is accumulating tens of thousands of testimonies showing the positive results people are receiving. such as decreased or eliminated daily usage of pain pills; relief from joint pain; migraines; anxiety and a host of other human maladies.  The product is made from the Hemp Plant and is known as CBD oil.  This hybrid plant has zero addictive ingredients and CBD has no psychotic active effects.

One lady reported that her baby was born with a genetic brain defect.  She was having up to 300 seizures a day.  A short time after taking CBD oil her seizures decreased to 1-3 per day.  Migraines, joint pain, assistance in tolerance with chemo therapy are all happening.  The church will need to decide if CBD oil, which has no addictive qualities, since it’s “sister plant” has THC, is right for believers to use or should believers continue to prefer the prescription drugs that are addictive.

Let’s start a discussion.

In your opinion, are CBD products okay for believers to use?

In upcoming reports, we will be giving you a great deal more information to help you decide.  If you’re one of the millions already using CBD products, we would like to hear about your own experience with them.  Let’s make informed decisions. “There is wisdom in the multitude of counselors.”
