Proverbs 3:5  – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Trust is a foundational component in everyone’s daily life.

Our children trust us to provide them love; food; water; shelter; and a peaceful environment for them to grow and thrive in.

We trust our spouses to watch out for us and to work together for the family good; to be faithful and committed to our relationship; and to help each other overcome life’s struggles.

We trust God to protect us and to meet our needs; to not only provide peace in the storms but a way out of them; and we believe that God through His promises, (but probably none greater than with the promise that through Christ He has prepared a place for us) that when this life is over our eternity will be spent with Him.

The trust between a Christian believer and God is never more tested than when we have a tragic loss of a loved one.

Do we believe that God prepared a place for them?  If something happened to me, does He have a place for me?  Rest easy, if you have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior of your life He will be faithful to keep His promise to you and your family, just as your loved one heard these words, “Enter thou into the joy of the Lord”.

Rejoice, He has prepared a place for you too!
